We understand that dental procedures might sometimes cause anxiety. To make your experience as comfortable as possible, we offer various options to assist with your appointment, these include:

Nitrous Oxide often referred to as ‘laughing gas.’ It’s a safe and gentle option that can help you relax during your treatment.

Oral Anxiolyis involves taking a prescribed medication by mouth before your appointment to help you feel more relaxed and at ease during your dental visit.

Intravenous (IV) Sedation (Sleep Dentistry)
IV sedation is frequently used in dental treatments for patients who are particularly nervous, have phobias or certain medical conditions as well as individuals who require a lot of dental treatment to be performed.

IV sedation induces a state of deep relaxation where time passes very quickly. The patient remembers little, if any, of the dental treatment.

General Anaesthesia can be offered to patients at Southbank Day Surgery. Dr Richard Hague operates from Southbank Day Surgery throughout the year, bookings for this are essential. Bookings are made with the All Saints Dental Team after your first appointment.
